The Town of Greenwich maintains this 297 acre parcel in its natural state. Trails are well marked and allow for hiking and cross-country skiing across and through ponds, streams, and meadows. Open daily during daylight hours. Picnic area and free parking.

| Montgomery Pinetum
|
Bible Street, Cos Cob
Almost 100 varieties of conifers planted by Colonel Robert Montgomery are spread through this 62 acre park. Pinetum also has hiking trails, a garden center and library, an ice skating pond and a picnic area. Meander through the adjacent Caldwell Wildlife Sanctuary, maintained by the Greenwich Audobon Society.

|

The town-operated ferry's half-hour ride takes you to a 17 acre island with beach, picnic area, and camp site (permit and reservation required for camping). A Greenwich beach card is required.

Open all year round, this 147 acre beach has a concession stand and plenty of parking. A Greenwich beach card is required between April 1 and November 30.
